My self help information journey

I came across the following clues towards self-help on the internet : A testimony by a female law professor who battles with schizophrenia shares her difficulties in a Helpful video for self esteem.

For helpful approaches  into work, for instance, we are beginning to see a scheme where people with mental health problems can find meaningful work that is good for them through a well established method of  Individual Placement and Support.

For anonymous online therapy ( be very careful who and what you interact with) there is the
website horsesmouth.co.uk where you can find a mentor or be a mentor for a particular
difficulty. Or simply browse the inspirational profiles and stories.

Scottish Recovery Network for those who live in Scotland or a similar network in your area
offers up to date news on the issues facing people with mental health conditions and raises
awareness on recovery.See helpful site dedicated to recovery

Or you might like to contribute to one of the many health blogs out on the web like Daily
Strength which offers a community of 500 anonymous support groups at helpful anonymous support/

For clinical definitions and information there is the Royal College of Psychiatrists see clinical information
