Apparent memory-concentration losses in mental health

What will an employer want ?
An employer wants a person with an alert memory he can use to do a days work for him.A mind he can fill with the business of today. He wants us to be as productive as we can. All there, working for him. Will he excuse tiny lapses of concentration? Will they be noticed at all?
Connectivity
The functions of our memory can be so absorbed in dealing with unwanted thoughts that we miss what is going on around us.The degree to which this happens is an indication of how well we are. There is a big difference between an occupied memory coping with the distractions of mental illness and actual memory loss.It is a connectivity issue.
Presentation lapses
We don't present well , we seem to need to wake up and pay attention even if it  is for a fraction of a second and use our memory or we will lose that vital piece of information we need to do the job.
Sinking feelings
We become unconfident and our behaviour suffers if we feel we are not grasping what we ought to.
Panic sets in ,we berate ourselves with a hemorrhage of negative thoughts. We doubt whether we can remember or follow instructions. We forget even more information.
Outcome
If this loop continues we get unwell under increasing pressure to do just normal things. The things we can do perfectly well when this is not happening.
